Day 1: Delhi - Arrival
On your arrival at the Delhi Airport, you will meet our Tour representative who will facilitate your transfer to a hotel of your choice. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 :Delhi
Post breakfast, set out for sightseeing in the city. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Sis Ganj Gurudwara. Enjoy shopping at Chandni Chowk in the evening. Evening board Train at 1800 hrs for Patna. Overnight at Train.
Day 03: Delhi - Patna - Bodhgaya
Morning arrive Patna at 1000. Later drive down to Bodhgaya - a place where Buddha attained enlightenment. Enroute visit Nalanda - a great learning centre of Buddhist, and Rajgir - the ancient capital of Magadha. On arrival at Bodhgaya check in at a hotel. Dinner and nightstay at the hotel.
Day 04: Bodhgaya
After breakfast in the morning, set out for sightseeing of the city. Visit the famous Mahabodhi temple, Thai Monastery, Japanese temple and Tegar Monastery. Evening free to explore the local markets. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Morning post breakfast proceed towards your next destination Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi shift to a Hotel. Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of the famous temples of Varanasi like SankatMochan temple, Kashi Vishwa Nath temple, and Bharat Mata temple. Also visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon on a way of life. Here you will find many stupas and scriptures on Buddhism. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06:Varanasi - Kushinagar
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges to see the sunrise and the bathing Ghats of an ancient Hindu city. Later leave Varanasi for Kushinagar. Overnight in Kushinagar.
Day 07: Kushinagar - Lumbini
Morning visit Nirvana Stupa, Nirvana Temple, Mathakuar Shrine. Afternoon Leave Kushinagar for Lumbini (in Nepal) by surface. Sightseeing of Lumbini where Lord Buddha was born. Emperor Asoka, visited this Birthplace at the age of 21 after he was coronated, and raised a pillar on the spot. Overnight at Lumbini.
Day 08: Lumbini - Sravasti - Kanpur - Delhi
Morning transfer to Sravasti (Sahet-Mahet), capital of the ancient Kingdom of Kosala, an active centre for Buddhism. After sighseeing proceed Kanpur. On arrival board Rajdhani Express to reach Delhi.
Day 9: Delhi
Morning arrival at Delhi. Day free at leisure. Evening transfer to airport to board flight.
